Making tools for myself and other people to use is a very rewarding part of woodworking. I enjoy turning tool handles of various sorts on my lathe, along with things like mallets. I also have made lots of workshop furniture, most notably my hand to workbench featuring 120-year-old maple vice screw. If you know someone that’s just getting into woodworking, I recommend ordering a deluxe boxed set of hand tools, including chisels, screwdriver, awl, countersink tool, and a marking knife.
